Produces solid performance
Placide made eight saves and allowed four goals in Wednesday's 4-2 defeat against Morocco. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 79th minute.
Analysis: Placide produced a fitting farewell to his international career, making eight saves, including four from inside the penalty area, as Haiti resisted relentless Moroccan pressure. Although Haiti conceded four times, he repeatedly kept his side in the contest with some incredible saves in an entertaining 4-2 defeat.
Allows three against Brazil
Placide recorded two saves and three goals allowed in Friday's 3-0 loss to Brazil.
Analysis: Placide was given a tall task of trying to stop Brazil and couldn't hold for long, as he was beaten three times in the first half during the loss. This brings him to four goals allowed this tournament while making three saves, not likely what the Haitian legend was looking for during his World Cup campaign. He will now face Morocco in their World Cup finale, likely to be another tough challenge.
