Five crosses from right-back role
Doue recorded five crosses (two accurate) and one tackle in Thursday's 2-0 victory over Curacao.
Analysis: Doue would start at right-back for the Ivory Coast on Thursday and would remain active, with the defender recording five crosses in the attack to go along with one interception, a tackle and two clearances in the defense. This does mark his second start of the tournament, seeing some two-way play in both games thus far. With Wilfried Singo still dealing with a hamstring injury, Doue does appear to be their lead option at right-back as they move into the knockout stage.
Active display on both ends
Doue had two crosses (one accurate) and two chances created in Sunday's 1-0 win over Ecuador. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 40th minute while adding three clearances, seven duels won and one tackle won.
Analysis: Doue had some problems dealing with the physicality of some of the Ecuador attackers, and he could've been sent off for a harsh foul on Enner Valencia. However, he was also an asset offensively and managed to deliver some interesting things going forward. Doue could be forced to play with a more defensive mindset Saturday against Germany, though, limiting his fantasy upside in the attacking third.
